Architect Sergey Makhno created a functional and unique space in Kyiv, Ukraine using the concept of a room organized in a train compartment like style.
In order to fit all the functions of an apartment into only 50 square meters (538 square feet) of living space, the “rooms” are hidden behind sliding glass doors. The bedroom, walk-in closet, small library and the bathroom are neatly tucked behind the glass compartments.
The open main living area features a living room, a kitchen, a dining area and a home theatre system. The bright coloured modular sofa by Roche Bobois is a centre of the composition.
