This unique project in Zehlendorf, Berlin, Germany by baumraum takes the concept of treehouses, which are normally associated with a country setting, and place them within the city.
Two cubic units were created, each with 21 square meters (226 sq. ft.) of living spaces. Each unit is supported by a four meter high base. The base is also used as a storage space for garden tools and to house the building’s utilities and supply circuit.
