BMW Pavilion At The London 2012 Olympic Park
The BMW Olympic Pavilion in London, England floats on the Waterworks River against the Olympic Stadium and Aquatics centre at the Olympic Park. As the Official Automotive Partner to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Pavilion exhibits the BMW fleet for the Games as well as prototype models for the future. British firm Serie Architects designed the Pavilion which uses water from the river, which is filtered, to cool the building as it flows down the sides of the glass.

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, England required the construction of a mini-city within a city. The compact design allows most of the sporting venues and the athletes’ village to be within walking distance of one another.
The Olympic Athletes’ Village comprises of 11 apartment blocks with 2,818 apartments to accommodate the 16,000 athletes and officials who stay there during the Games.
After the Olympics, the apartments will provide affordable housing for Londoners.
