The largest tropical garden in Singapore is a spectacular development designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects and landscape architects Grant Associates. The Gardens by the Bay has been designed as a series of distinct ecosystems which consists of three waterfront gardens — Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden.
The Sun House located in Singapore designed by Guz Architects is laid out in L shape with an open courtyard as the central focal point. Lushly planted roof gardens create the effect that nature is part of the house. Ponds and pools serve as cooling elements for the building.
“House At Hillside” located in Singapore is a renovation project of a half a century old residence by Nota Design International pte Ltd. The 147 square meters (1582 sq. ft.) property achieved high aesthetic and quality with a low budget. Full-height timber-framed clear glass pivot panels at the front of the house allow good ventilation when the doors are opened, and air conditioning to work efficiently when they are closed.
Situated on top of Siglap Hill in Singapore with magnificent city view, this unique house resembles a yacht. Designed by Aamer Architects, the bedrooms on the ground level are connected to the swimming pool. The living and dinning areas on the second level are connected with the outdoor verandahs. The house has a lovely resort style feel with elegant simplicity.
The Tangga House designed by Guz Architects is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional courtyard house in Singapore. A central green courtyard with double height stair and entry area form the focal point of the house. The open L-shaped plan with open spaces allows natural ventilation. The house is surrounded by lushly planted roof gardens. The swimming pool, which wraps around two sides of the house, is transparent both from the outside and from the inside. This inspiring design creates an environment in harmony with nature in the hot tropical climate.
Six Ramsgate is a modern home in Singapore by Wallflower Architecture + Design with an open plan that blends the indoor with the outdoor. The interconnected space allows breezes and air movement to circulate.
Ilum is a distinctive architecturally designed entertainment and retail development in Singapore. The contemporary building by architecture firm WOHA relates to the surrounding neighbourhood in scale and texture. The decorative curvilinear façade intricately detailed the decoration of the historic shophouses.
Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is an integrated resort with three 55-storey towers capped by a boat-shaped 340 meters long SkyPark with a 150 meters infinity swimming pool. This impressive resort developed by Las Vegas Sands and designed by Moshe Safdie Architects cost approximately S$8 billion (over US$6 billion) to build. The 16-hectre resort combines a casino, 2,560 rooms, two theatres, a shopping mall, restaurants, a Museum of ArtScience and world class convention facilities. The project’s foreground — composed of the ArtScience Museum, an outdoor event plaza along the promenade and the grand arcade — serves as a base from which the hotel towers rise.
