Inspired by the Monte Carlo Casino, this architectural desk created by Viscount David Linley is an exquisite piece of furniture priced at about $100,000. Viscount Linley, the bespoke cabinetmaker who is a nephew of Queen Elizabeth II, created this desk using American walnut with inlays of santos rosewood and sycamore. Covering the surface is a dark red leather. The façade of the architectural box bears detailing representing the windows, columns and galleries of the casino. Linley has been known for the intricacy and precision of fine craftsmanship which he brings to all his furniture.
