A new built home on Belle Meade Boulevard in Nashville, Tennessee honors the history of the neighborhood with classic touches. The ambiance of the estate is romantic and old world, but with modern twists.
Long and Long Design, interior designer Rachel Halvorson Designs, builder Vintage South Development and Page Duke Landscape Architects collaborated on the project.
The characteristics of the modern manor transcend any single architectural style, ranging from vaulted ceiling beams to Roman columns, leaded-glass windows and a Tudor-influenced front door that set the tone for the entire residence.
The house is set against stark white stucco and blackened steel windows, taking on a more contemporary feel of transitional architecture.
In order to make a new house feel old and timeless, vintage elements and rich, earthy colors are used to contrast and warm the cool, clean lines of the home. Black steel French doors bring a modern feel to the more traditional reclaimed oak floors.
The private interior terrace and pool is directly under the windows of the master bedroom suite.
