This Mediterranean home in Omaha, Nebraska features Spanish architecture with red-tiled roof, arched windows and symmetrical stucco design.
Originally built by noted architect Bert Hene, the renovation project by Maison MxM gave the interiors an eclectic, whimsical yet sophisticated contemporary update.
Some of its vintage elements were preserved, including a salon with a massive smooth-stone hearth and Juliet balcony.
Custom Moroccan tiles give the stair risers a Moorish nod in the foyer. The arched ceiling of the primary bedroom features a Fornasetti cloud mural.
