McLean, Virginia – This stunning stone mansion on the Potomac River in McLean is inspired by the Renaissance architecture of northern Spain.
Designed by Foster Zimmerman Architecture and constructed by The Galileo Group, the classical exterior of the house has an elegant old-world charm. It features hand-chiseled limestones and a random-thickness slate roof.
Once inside the front entrance, a dramatic curved staircase with wrought-iron details creates an exquisite two-storey foyer flooded with light from a custom oval skylight.
