Originally designed by renowned architect James Means, this historic home in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia was transformed into an elegant eclectic mansion as part of the Southeastern Designer Showhouse presentation.
Some of the Southeast’s finest design talents collaborated on the project: Ladisic Fine Homes, Pak Heydt & Associates, interior designers Jackye Lanham, Tristan Harstan, Lauren DeLoach, Sarah Bartholomew, Anna Booth Interiors, Galleria Kitchen and Bath Studio, and landscape architect Richard Anderson.
The entry foyer gives a classic traditional first impression.
The breakfast area draws upon the soft blue of the kitchen which is modern yet timeless.
The tranquil master bedroom sitting area is a refuge of beauty with a calming color palette.
A built-in arched bookshelf in the master passage adds a dose of whimsy, while a banquette offers a comfortable reading nook.
A rustic retreat in the basement is a masculine space with antiques, and exotic treasures.
The rear courtyard features an infinity-edge pool overlooking a creek below. A large terrace with outdoor fireplace enhances the home’s indoor-outdoor connections.
