Villa Salame located in Tel Aviv, Israel is a modern mediterranean oasis with an inner courtyard at the centre of the house.
Jonathan Canetti Architecture & Design transformed an old stone house originally built around the 1850’s into a modern family home. Many original elements were preserved and restored, including the limestone wall that crosses the entire house and arched openings. The mix of materials between the old warm stone and the new cool steel framed glass creates an interesting contrast.
