The original open plan of this loft in Vancouver, Canada presented a challenge for design team Campos Leckie. It had to accommodate a young family within the spatial constraints of this urban loft. The floor plan only has access to natural light at one end of the loft space. As a solution, a series of sliding partitions are created to divide the open space of the lower floor, turning it into three bedrooms at night. During the day, the partitions are withdrawn and light fills the entire home.
