Inspired by classic mahogany sailboats, this circular home library of a shingle style house by Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota is reminiscent of a lighthouse.
The light fixture is a custom replica of those found in historic lighthouses. It can be lowered from dome to window level, allowing the family to use it as a beacon for navigating their boat home at night.
The cabinetry was designed by TEA2 Architects and built by Modern Design Cabinetry.
