This peaceful retreat in San Antonio, Texas is carefully situated around three mature oak trees over a ravine.
Designed by Tobin Smith Architect and built by Truax Construction, the house is sensitive to its natural environment. The swimming pool is partially built on piers in order to protect the roots of the trees. A thirty-six foot wide floor-to-ceiling operable glass façade in the great room straddles the ravine.
