Studioata took on the project to adapt modern apartments housed in 18th century historical mountain huts in Pragelato, in the Province of Turin, in Val Chisone, Northern Italy. The traditional architecture is preserved with stone vaulting, limestone tile floor and natural wood, which is blended with modern alpine decor.
The redevelopment of the village of Pragelato provides local residents and visitors a unique atmosphere to enjoy modern life in a historic mountain village setting.
