There are 3,800 apartments housed in 21 buildings. Other facilities include a Dining Hall which opens 24/7 offering 700 food options, a clinic and gym.
Keeping with the theme of being the most eco-friendly Olympic Games, the bed frames have been made of recycled cardboards. The shuttle buses within the village are autonomous electric vehicles.
After the games, the site of the Olympic Village will be transformed into residential condominiums in this revitalized district.
