This tiny 36 sqm (388 sq. ft.) studio apartment in Stockholm, Sweden was once used as furniture storage space. The goal of the transformation into an apartment by architect Karin Matz was to make the space light and keep the cost low.
This resulted in the apartment divided in two parts. The modern kitchen, sleeping loft with glass wall, storage and wardrobe are all part of a single structure.
The other half of the living space was left with its previous layers, and along with it, its stories.
