Inspired by the Greek Revival houses of the 19th-century, this elegant luxury home in Greenwich, Connecticut features a two-story Doric colonnade and veranda on three sides of the building.
Situated on a waterfront peninsula on Long Island Sound, the house was designed by architect Allan Greenberg who specializes in grand mansions inspired by classical architecture.
Gomez Associates created the interior design and Deborah Nevins Associates was responsible for the design of the gardens.
In the central room of the home, there is an impressive three-story rotunda with a grand staircase. The circular mural around the room depicts the scene of the site as it was 200 years ago. The round hall has four doorways on each axis, with water views on three sides.
