Stukes Residence is an elegant stone farmhouse nestled in a serene forest just outside Auburn, Alabama. The estate is inspired by 18th century Normandy farmhouses in the French countryside.
Nequette Architecture & Design, builder Hufham Farris Construction and landscape architect Troy Rhone Gardens collaborated on the award-winning project.
The residence comprises a majestic main house, a long house, and two barns clustered around a central courtyard, all clad in stunning Alabama stone.
Reclaimed antique oak beams and floors infuse the spaces with warmth and character, while modern glass and steel connectors provide a touch of contemporary elegance.
Access to the courtyard is via oversized barn doors made from reclaimed wood, reminiscent of the grand entrances found in ancient French fortresses.
Inside, timeless interiors create an atmosphere that is both historically authentic and luxuriously comfortable.
