A former confectionary shop in the historical centre of Sarrià in Barcelona, Spain was converted into a contemporary character home by Sergi Pons Architects.
Before the renovation, a false ceiling covered up the traditional Catalan vaulted ceiling of the original building which was constructed in 1930. The restored ceramic vaulted ceiling give the 1,292 sq. ft. refurbished home a lot of character.
