OPod is a creative prototype designed by Hong Kong architect James Law to ease the housing shortage in one of the most expensive places to live on earth.
This innovative idea took a section of a giant concrete pipe and installed a modern apartment complete with a bench seating that doubles as a bed, a desk, mini fridge, microwave and a bathroom with shower.
The idea is to utilize empty narrow spaces between buildings and stack the OPods between alleyways and atop buildings.
