Originally a modest worker’s abode in Edgartown, Massachusetts, this property underwent a thoughtful renovation and expansion, while preserving the charm of Martha’s Vineyard.
Patrick Ahearn Architect was commissioned for the transformation project which includes the main house, barn, and shed.
At the rear, subtle enhancements were introduced, including a graceful curvature in the roofline and a tastefully extended bay window, adding to the island’s charm.
The versatile barn now serves as storage for vehicles and recreational equipment, with an office space above. Meanwhile, the shed has been elegantly converted into a second office, accessible from the delightful backyard patio.
