Ållonö is an exclusive family castle mansion located near Stockholm, Sweden. This exquisite residential palace has over 11,000 square feet of living space. The property was originally built in 1670 by Baron Gustav Kurck designed by Nicodemus Tessin. Ållonö was previously owned by many famous families including Kurck, Lilliehook, Oxenstierna, Hamilton, Sperling & Flach. The most recent owners completely renovated the castle, restoring and preserving its original architecture.

Designers at British engineering firm Atkins have come up with the most imaginative idea for a hotel. This stunning “groundscaper” hotel to be built is an ambitious project by Shimao Property Group and Atkins. Located 30 miles from Shanghai, in an abandoned quarry in Songjiang, China, the luxury resort will have 16 floors below the surface of the earth, and 3 stories above ground.

The impressive Car Towers at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg, Germany are used for storage for new Volkswagens. The two 60 meter/200 ft tall glass car silos are connected to the Volkswagen factory by a 700 metre underground tunnel. When cars arrive at the towers they are carried up at a speed of 1.5 metres per second.

Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque in Brunei is a stunning Royal Islamic Mosque located in the capital city Bandar Seri Begawan.
The building merges Mughal architecture with Italian styles, and is an example of modern Islamic architecture. Situated in an artificial lagoon on the banks of the Brunei River, a stone ceremonial barge is prominently displayed in front of the mosque.
