Inspired by natural coastline forms, Vincent Callebaut Architectures has designed a concept tropical eco-resort in Palawan, Philippines featuring a series of spiraling apartment buildings and shell-shaped hotel structures situated on a lagoon.
Nautilus Eco-Resort includes a variety of renewable energy sources, including tidal and solar energy. The project proposes use of sustainable materials, such as bio-concrete in the shell-shaped hotel facades, green walls, and cross-laminated timber.
