One of the highlights of this historic townhouse in Boston, Massachusetts is the creation of a serene spa retreat within the courtyard and greenhouse.
The 8,200 square-foot, six-story, late 19th-century architectural gem on Beacon Street in the historic Back Bay neighborhood underwent a comprehensive overhaul.
Design studio Hacin + Associates collaborated with Sea-Dar Construction on the renovation project. The team took great care to preserve key original features such as the Tiffany glass windows and the elegant ribbonlike staircase.
The goal was to create a seamless blend of art, architecture, and design. Art pieces by contemporary artists are incorporated into the overall aesthetic.
A luxurious plunge pool next to the courtyard where the greenhouse used to be features a striking moss mural, bringing a touch of nature indoors.
