Set in a row of Victorian and Cape Dutch buildings in Cape Town, South Africa, Tuynhuys is an architecturally ambitious futuristic apartment building. The abstract minimalism of the design is playful and sculptural.
Designed by Robert Silke & Partners, the building has 47 compact apartments ranging from 260 sq ft studios to 860 sq ft 2-bedroom penthouses. Some apartments are framed by curved glass or lozenge-shaped windows, some have stunning mountain and cityscape views.
