Located just steps from the Atlantic in the little town of Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina, this elegant yet casual contemporary beach house was inspired by the traditional Barbados manor homes.
Beau Clowney Architects created an understated seaside paradise blending elements gleaned from Caribbean architecture with the traditional details of Lowcountry houses. The 4,900-square-foot oceanfront house has a British Colonial flair. Interior designer Jenny Keenan brought a light and breezy touch to the interior decor that complements the spellbinding ocean views.
