The large open concept with large openings takes advantage of the magnificent valley views. Near net-zero energy consumption is achieved by concealed photovoltaic panels which provide electrical power and solar hot water panels for heating of pool. Thermal mass concrete floors and natural ventilation are also utilized as passive components to reduce energy requirements.
